DAY 1: Travel

Thank you for coming along with us! Together, we are joining God in His beautiful work of writing new stories of hope.

After nearly 20 hours of travel, our team safely arrived in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia!

We are grateful for answered prayers. We had an extremely short connection in Istanbul, Turkey, followed by what felt like a 5K trek through the airport to reach our gate. We were thankful for an airport host who guided us through the rush—and even more thankful that all 50 checked bags arrived safely in Addis!

As we begin our time here, would you continue praying for our team? Pray that we would serve with humility, learn with teachable hearts, encourage the faithful staff of Hope for the Fatherless, and reflect Christ's love in every interaction. We are eager to see what God has in store over the coming days.
